Rey Johnson brings a strong background of success in real estate development and banking to Pacific Land Enterprises, Inc., strengthening the firm’s entrepreneurial creative force and helping to attain its goals.
His development experience over the past 35+ years covers five states and includes diverse projects such as malls, office and industrial parks, sports complexes, as well as residential and ranch properties.
Johnson’s career in commercial banking included co-founding and serving as a board member of the Bank of Walnut Creek, which in 25 years grew into an institution with assets in excess of $600 million. His community involvement includes the Grass Valley Planning Commission, Friendship Club, Nevada County Economic Resource Council and The Grass Valley Center for the Arts.
Wendy Schutt
Operations Manager
Wendy Schutt joined Pacific Land Enterprises in 1994 and brings over 20 years experience in business administration to the management team. She has held key positions in civil engineering, land development and design/build firms. Her current responsibilities include overseeing tenant relations, office management, bookkeeping and financial reporting.
Ms. Schutt contributes essential organizational and communication skills to the variety of services Pacific Land Enterprises, Inc. provides to tenants, vendors and investors.
Renny Johnson

Accredited LEED professional with more than fifteen years of real estate development and management experience, including conducting market analyses, negotiating leases, site selection, land acquisition, and property management. Recommend and support the intelligent use of resources, including maximizing energy and employing processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient. Recognized for ability to efficiently use energy, water, and other resources, improve employee productivity and well-being, and reduce waste and environmental impact.

Bruce Johnson
Marketing Manager
Bruce Johnson possesses a diversified background in real estate finance, investment, development, and management. He entered commercial real estate with a nation-wide mortgage banking firm out of offices in Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco and subsequently has been the founder and sole owner of three commercial real estate enterprises. Operating under his mortgage banking firm, Argus Financial Corporation, he secured financing for owners of non-residential properties in the San Francisco metropolitan, northern California, and Nevada areas.
With his development firm, Argus Development Corporation, he personally joint-ventured with life insurance companies and other partners development projects that have included office, R & D, and light industrial properties totaling over 600,000 square feet and two land business park developments of 15 and 80 acres.
For several decades Bruce has operated Sierra Investment Services engaged in a broad spectrum of financing of income properties in the greater Sacramento, Central Valley, and Sierra Foothills areas. Throughout his years in commercial real estate, he has overseen the activities of property management, construction management, outside consulting services, and investment management.
At Pacific Land Enterprises he manages sales and leasing functions of the business. Bruce is a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
